The Open Video Alliance needs your videos and proposals for their upcoming conference. The conference is being put together by Yale Law School Information Society Project, the Participatory Culture Foundation, Kaltura, and iCommons. Their goal is to make online video as decentralized, accessible and resistant to censorship as other “staples of the web” like email and blogs. They’re accepting proposals for workshops, panels, and other programming. They’re also accepting “submissions of video art to showcase the creative potential of artists in the open video space.” The deadline is March 19th 2009. Here’s the site where you can find an RTF with more details or submit your proposals: http://openvideoalliance.org/proposals. I've also pasted the full notice in the forum. UPDATE |
