Job Title: Multimedia Content Editor

Multimedia Content Editor We are looking for an editor/content creator to work on multimedia content segments using video and audio footage, still images, and information graphics. Content ranges in length from 30 seconds to several minutes. The segments are delivered as QuickTime movies (sometimes other digital video formats), through Flash, and sometimes written to DVDs. The candidate will have the following skills: - Digitizing digital video - Recording, digitizing, and processing audio from various sources - Video encoding using QuickTime - Apple FinalCut Pro - Adobe Premiere - Adobe AfterEffects, Apple Motion, or similar video effects software - DVD encoding and burning software - Familiarity with web technologies - Excellent written skills Significant "plus" skills (but not required): - Flash development and Actionscript - Basic web development skills Ideal background: - Studied or majored in film or film studies - 2-5 years of professional experience in multimedia development - At least 5 years of (non-professional) interest in creating broadcast content Please send a copy of your resume (attachments are fine) to the link at the top of this posting, and tell us a bit about yourself.
