I started making mashups three years ago in Marcus Boon's copying class at York University. The first one I put online is "My Heart Will Take a Kayak." I think video remixing is the perfect way for everyone to take the footage they care about and make art on a low budget.

The software I use most often for making remixes includes Adobe Premiere + Photoshop. For sound I use Audacity.

I wanted to remix Bill O'reilly's meltdown because everyone else was remixing it. I thought the swears sounded good together and I wanted to remix other people's mashups, especially ones that showed how useful mashups can be for saying "fuck you."
