Ricardo Carrion, freelance IT developer, filmmaker and media remixer.

Born April 15, 1965 in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Currently based in Europe. Active in remix culture since the advent of the broadband internet and video sharing websites. I use primarily Apple's iMovie HD for remixing video and Apple's GarageBand for soundtrack editing.

The clip was inspired by the existing and increasing threats posed by draconian copyright laws to free speech, intellectual freedom, and the free flow of information. I chose to use satire and parody to show how those laws are currently being countered by the emergence of Peer-to-peer technologies, the concepts of Fair Use / Fair Dealing and the Free Culture movement.
