When I was ten, I took apart a garage door opener to see how it worked. Since then, I've always enjoyed taking things apart and putting them back together in interesting ways. I graduated from Boston University in 2007 with a BS in film (which I always found entertaining), and I grew into remix as a way of taking apart the moving image to see how it really worked.
I primarily call on Final Cut Pro to edit and LiveType for the occasional bouncy text. I'm incompetant with visual effects, so I stay away from the flashier stuff.
"Read-write (lessig remix)" is my first try at a video remix. It came out of developing a documentary based on Lessig's book "Free Culture." While researching, I dove into Lessig's many presentations and interviews, and after a couple of friends (credited) turned me on to the irony of a Lessig remix, I had to try my hand at it.
